Your new Jeep, Is a ZJ.

pick up a 4" lift from rough country. throw some 33"s on it.

what model ZJ do you have? is it a leredo or a limited? 5.2 v8, or 4.0liter Strait 6?

What are the biggest tires that can fit under it without a lift?

i dont even think you can fit a 31 with out lifting a zj,if you dont want to spend the $$ on a big lift atleast do a budget spacer 2in lift

I have a 97 ZJ, no lift (yet) and I put 30x950/15 BFG M/T on it and it only rubs on maxed out turns a little bit. makes the GC look mean and doesn't compromise ride quality like a 4' lift will. If you are going to use it as a daily driver the 30x950's and a 2" Budget boost lift is the way to go. good in the trails and smooth on the road.

33's will NOT fit a ZJ with 4.5" lift.

Not with out alot of trimming and bump stops.

Or you can do 4.5" lift with Icelandic Fender flares and 33's..

There the only cut out flare for a Zj.

And I know it takes ALOT of trimming to clear 33's on a ZJ cause I had one.

Default it depends

what you are going to? also it depends on how much $$$$$$ are you willing to pay, and if its going to be you DD and how much offroad will it see, if you just want to fit 31" and just a bit wheelin use a 2" BB, and of course, bigger tires, bigger lift, more money, a good and balanced lift suspension for wheelin is the 4" or 4.5, again, it depends what you want to do with your GC
as always if you want to play yo have to pay.....

you can also do a front to back coil swap with zj v8 coils and a spacer up front. then you can run 31's with some trimming.

but to run 33's is a little more difficult to run them without rubbing.

well, i know a ZJ with 6.5" will fit 35"s with minor trimming. so i would assume 2" less would fit 2" less of tire.

Its also good to state tires size fitment has alot to do with wheel backspacing!
