Default Big problem

On my 99 grand cherokee I cant lock back door its jammed what can be causing this I live in a bad part of town lol

Do you mean the rear hatch door. If so, you might tighten the two screws that hold the latch bar that the door comes down on. Mine got loose and it wouldn't line up right. Also you could spray some WD40 on it.

not sure what to tell you now other than take the door panel off and and try and see whats wrong. then go to a junkyard and get the broken part.

I think the rod was bent and it only jammed when hooked up so I disconnected it becouse I only use power locks any way

bent rod, and then it causes the latch to close.
