Bad wheel bearing?
What are the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing? I hear/feel some noise coming from the drviers side front. It feels like something is just a little bit loose and has some play. Its barely noticeable but seems to be getting worse.
I was out driving around in very high water a couple weeks ago when the area was flooded so im wandering if that contributed.
Thanks!

Do you hear a "humming" sound that goes away when you turn the steering wheel left or right?
Jack up the suspect wheel and shake it to check for play. There should be very little or no play.
If it's a clunking sound and the wheels aren't loose, reach behind the wheel and check your axle u-joints for play.
