Dana 30 front and Dana 35 rear. I wouldn't lock up the rear and I speak from experience. Went through 3 shafts with a lock right and 33s

I have an 8.8, although in an XJ. you will need to remove the spring perches and shock mounts (you might be able to make the shock mounts work with a ZJ, I have no idea really), both of which come off easily. then youll have to weld on some coil mounts (at the proper pinion angle), and control arm brackets. So you will need to know how to weld or get someone who does. I made my stock e-brake cable work, and the ZJ e brake cables look exactly the same as the ones on an explorer so they should work.

What size tires are you wanting to run, may be better off with the stock axle or a D44a out of a newer ZJ if it's not bigger than 33s.

Just pull a Dana 44a out of a 96-98 v8 zj. Lock it and it will hold up 32's, if you can I would truss it as well. The front Dana 30 can handle a locker with 32's, but stick with the grand cherokee cv style shafts. I always snap u joints and shafts with the cherokee 297x.
