axel seal removal
I have a 95 ZJ and the drivers front axel seal is leaking. Do you have to take the carrier out to change it? Does it install through the axel tube or the diff housing. Thanks for any replies. Also it has CV axels.

Thanks N20Jeep, so both axels come out and carrier. Do the seals install through the tube or diff housing? Thanks again

They install through the diff housing. You remove the shafts, carrier and the seals should be to the left and right of where the carrier sits.
