automatic transmission oil refill

Could someone please tell me how to top up automatic transmission and where the fill cap is please

It is in the engine bay. There are two dipsticks, the yellow top one is for your oil and then there is another a little closer to the bqck of the valve cover and that is the one for the tranny

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

How do you know the transmission needs fluid if you haven't even found the dipstick?
