Alternator help?!?!?

Best direction I've received yet???
'Ok that plug goes into the ecm wiring harness. Some use it some dont. The best way to find out if the altenator is working is check the output at the alternator. It should be 13.2v plus if its lower it needs a new ecm its super common in jeeps to think its the alternator when its not'
