Alarm Question
2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo -
Battery dead in key fob - when I open the driver door with the key, the alarm goes off. Anyway to easily correct this ? Or how can I disconnect the alarm permanently ? Tks ...

have similiar situation - seems to be a short in electrical security system - randomly system goes off with honking horn and lights flashing when driver's door is opened - jeep will not start - my jeep grand cherokee is 1997 - have you received any info on your security problem?
