I'm going to be using a gallon of Herculiner on my floor of my zj.the kit is like 99 dollars and a gallon is like 40 dollars .my question is are they a activator I have to add to the herculiner like Bondo ? I'm not wanting to buy the whole kit if I don't have to.if I can get away with just prepping the floor and rolling the liner on it I will.but if I have to spend 30 dollars for a gallon of it then turn around and have to buy activator I'll just buy the kit.I'm looking for the cheapest option

From what i remember doing my truck bed there is not any activator you need. I bought the because.it had the textured roller with it. I dont think using a standard paintbrush will work. Itll gum up pretty quick. Once you open the can nd start using it. Stir it or mix it.up often other wise the stuff will separate

There is no activator just open the can and stir. Herculiner has lots of small rubber pieces in it so you dont need to add any sand. The rollers in the kit work great but I think you can buy them online. Just using a paint brush will work but it will take alot longer.
