Where do I start to troubleshoot 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ac won't come on or light up?

well with no more explanation than that how about popping the hood and take a look if the belt is still on it, then maybe throw a gauge on it to see if it has any pressure left in the system , then maybe check the fuses..... that should keep ya busy for a bit report back for further instruction

You gotta give us a whole lot more info. My first guess would be a fuse though.
