hi all, I'm new to the forums and apologize if I'm asking anything repetitive.
I've been having some troubles with my sisters car, 99 grand Cherokee Laredo. It has about 90k miles roughly. Driving on the highway its fine. When your slowing down and just about stopped, it starts shaking and feels like its about to stall. It sometimes does. It also does when your stopped. Acceleration and driving is fine. Just slowing down and stopped. No warning lights on dash, transmission has new filter and fluid and checked out as fine. Plugs were just changed. Air filter is good. If a coil was bad I'd get a warning. Also if a cat was clogged that too would appear. I'm stumped on this one. Could be fuel pump, but only when slowing down?

Any input would be exteremely appreciated. I'm hitting my head off the wall on this one!

Sounds like a torque converter problem. What happens when sitting still with brakes applied and you shift between park and drive/reverse a few times?

when shifting from park to reverse/drive, it stalled once when going back into park.
