99 247 trans grinding wont engage 4 low
hey guys,
looking for some help here,
im a first time jeep owner and recently found myself in some snow, only to find my front axles arnt engaging while in all time 4x4 and when tryed to lock into 4 low i am getting grinding from tc and no engagement..
any ideas or am i tc shopping

Engine: 4.0 h.o. with 703's and a KN&N drop in filter
Also check the linkage there is a plastic keeper that breaks and will also not allow engagement easy to replace most auto parts stores have them in brass more durable
