Normal, the PCM has to go through a relearn and it should idle and run fine after a few minutes. Just give it some throttle until it starts to idle on its own.

The idle air control motor may be bad.

I had a similar problem and thought the battery was going. turned out there was massive corrosion on my negative terminal. the corrosion was cutting the connection. cleaned the connection and no problems since.

guess i could have updated... he finally let it run long enough i guess... i told him but guess he didnt let it run as long as he thought... or he said he did cause he didnt think that it would fix itself (relearn the computer of a dead battery)... but its good now! Thanks for the help a few months back!
