Default 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 "HELP NO START"

Good Evening Guys, I've looked everywhere and tried everything so I hope someone might have some insight to my Jeeps problem. I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 that was running fine, parked it in my driveway and the next morning wouldn't start. It just kept turning over and over. About a month ago at idle it would just stall, so I would have to start it with my foot on the gas pedal then drive around till it warmed up, then it was fine after that with no issues. I have spark and fuel with no engine codes. I have already changed the Alternator, Battery, Crank Position Sensor, Cam Position Sensor and still no start ? I connected a scanner and it found no codes. I'm stumped guys any suggestions ? Thank You.

Hey Busted! Does this look like the parts shotgun or what?

Hey Rhody, listen to this guy! He knows what he's talking about.

If the jeep starts with the starting fluid in the throttle body, where should I look to get this Jeep fixed ? I'll check the fuel pressure, check the connections on the computer harness, and see if the wires on the O2 sensor are damaged. Am I missing anything else?

My best scientific wild a$$ guess (swag) would be that the fuel pump is no good or there is an open in the fuel pump circuit.

10/4 thanx bud. If the damn fuel pressure is upto par 40-50psi could a faulty 02 sensor or melted wire cause all this BS.

A melted wire could cause a fuse to blow, usually the ECM fuse. A bad O2 won't cause a no start in most cases.

He is not a mechanic. He is a parts changer.

I'm fed up ill just tow the damn jeep back home and do the work whenever the spring finally arrives. I'm no mechanic but ill trouble shoot the hell out of it narrowing it down to the problem. Enough is enough.
