Default 97 Grand Cheorkee quits while driving

My 1997 grand cherokee all of a sudden quits while driving, then starts and runs fine. I did have the trans replaced about a month ago. Any connection there? Please help and thanks in advance.

If it ran fine before the trans replacement It might be the CPS.

Is it hard starting when this happens or does it start up right away? Any other symptoms other than it just quits?

Check your fuel filter. My GC-95 was having the hesitation problem almost about to die, when I replaced the fuel filter it was full of sludged so cleaned the tank too.
