97 Gand Cherokee Orvis front brakes dont engage
1997 Grand Cherokee Orvis 4x4, ABS light on always, then the brake light came on. When changing pads, only the rear were worn. It does not stop properly because the front is not getting used. When I bought it, only the rear pads were bad. It has had the problem for a while. Any suggestions? Is there a proportioning valve or something? Disk brakes front and back.

how do u know they arent actually engaging, did u jack up and have someone hit brakes for u. n see if the front is spinning? As far as the abs light, is it on all the time, or just when you get over 10 mph or so?
