95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited runs like crap I've done everything

Turn it off and turn it back on it runs a little better and then starts running like crap and smells horrible

That said - what do you mean by "smells horrible" -- what sort of smell is it? Gas, exhaust, etc?

What parts have been replaced? What was the condition of the old parts?

What is the smell? Where is the smell source, under hood, under vehicle, out tail pipe?

What is the history of the problem, gradually getting worse, or suddenly started running poorly?
