Default 95 grand cherokee

I just bought a 1995 grand Cherokee. im looking at putting a 4.5 in lift on it but I was wondering if anyone knows about the drive shaft angle and steering stuff with that much lift. also what size tires I can clear with the lift and would it be better to go with a smaller one? its my daily driver im planning on doing a little bit of off roading with it but not a lot

With a 4.5 in lift you'll almost definitely need a SYE. Front drive shaft should be good. You'd be best off going with a long arms kit too. With a 4.5 in you could probably stuff 35s at least with bump stops and trimming. You may need extended brake lines.

I haven't lifted my jeep yet, this is just what I've gathered from research.

Just remember the limitations of your driveline. IDK what you're running, but a 4.0 with 3.55 gears is going to be a real dog on 33's. It's also going to eat gas.

for just a mild wheeler, a 2 inch budget boost will be plenty, and much much cheaper. that and some 30 inch tires will get you alot farther than you might think. you're looking at well over a thousand bucks to do a 4.5 inch lift the right way, where you could in the budget boost for 2-300 depending on what shocks you buy.
