Engine: 4.0L high output with compressed valves
95 gc limited. i hardly tap on the gas and it stalls and dies
so pretty much it idles fun but when you tap on the gas it just stalls and dies. It idles fine. but when you mess with the gas it starts runnin like hell and dies.....would it b the tps maybe? eerythingg is in good shape

what is the tp? I'm having the same problem with mine. I can sit there and it idles fine. I can rev the engine up and it's fine but soon as i put it in drive it dies. I've replaced the fuel pump and igniton coil...

TB, not tp, but it stands for Throttle Body. It's on top of the intake manifold, the air intake is connected to it. I suppose if that's stuck closed or partially closed it could cause the engine to die (not enough air) if it's already getting spark and fuel.
