95 GC left side rear door handle

95 GC left side rear door handle
Hi all,
On my '95 Orvis, the driver side rear door wont open unless I push the door handle in with one hand, and then push the button with the other, it looks to be a loose door handle. How do you tighten the door handle? If I pull off the inside door panel, there's a big block of metal over the side I need to tighten (and a rod that's over the nut that needs tightened). Any advice is much appreciated.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Try and adjust the striker on the door jamb. Loosen the striker and move it out just a hair and then tighten it back up, see if there is any change.
