94 ZJ Over Heated now has rough Idle
My fathers 94 ZJ over heated last week when one of the rad hoses went out, now it idles and runs rough for him, which it did not do before it overheated. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Engine: 4.0 Liter I-6

Mine overheated and was running very rough. It blew the head gasket, two pistons were scoring the cylinder walls and water was leaking out the #1 cylinder exhaust manifold.
Bottom line;
Used engine $600.00
re-manufactured engine $1800.00
Overall cost of replacing the engine $3000.00
