Help, '94 grand check v-8, in dash amp guage starts to go in to neg zone, have found that if i get out and wiggle large wire loom going in to (computer ?) it corrected problem, jeep would start charging, can't get it to reset it self, removed raditor resv, tightened center bolt that holds loom plug on to (computer ?) what should I do, if i loosen the bolt totally will this un plug? could it be dirty? help, this is the way i get back and forth to state college (computer? where wire loom goes in is behind radiator resv).----thanks all for help

could be loose pin connection inside the actual connector,also maybe a chaffed wire. honestly hard to pin point without being there working on it, may have pull the loom away from wires and start lookin, you can also take the connector off of computer and look inside maybe something in there?

definetly take the connector apart, spray contact cleaner, in both the male and female ends, let it dry then reassemble. Beyond that you'll need to look at each of the battery wires and ground wires going into the connector.

thanks for suggestions, pulled 60 wire connection from computer, had some corrossion on pins & sockets, cleaned with electronic spray cleaner & brushed, back to new, system charging----thanks off to school
