94 cherokee 4 wheel drive help needed.
Just bought a 94 cherokee for my little brother. it has sat up for a little over a year now. I don't know anything about why the 4 wheel drive is disconnected but we were changing the oil and I noticed it does not have a front drive shaft.
My question is will the shaft not being installed cause any issues? I want to fix this eventually what will I need to do, buy shaft install and thats it? Where do I start with this 4 wheel drive repair

I have quadratrac, the t case has this printed on it: C-16668, C/V 3. Then a silver circular tag that reads Model 249 J, assembly number 5209 8539, serial 2 9 95 2, Ratio 272.
The front dif has a tag that reads:52070003, 3 73 610478-5
The Rear dif has a tag that reads:52069907, 3 73 5707-1
I need to know what driveshaft I need? Size? part numbers would be nice. Do I need u joints? I don't think I have them, there is just a place to mount the shaft with 4 bolts (which I also don't have.)

transfer case and driveshafts
i have a 93 limited in excellent condition with 250,000miles on it... i have replaced nearly everything on it except the engine and have done minimal trans work to it - new sensors on the trans - new computer too.
anyhow, i'm trying to diagnose a problem that i have when the jeep driven for 20min and then needs to park, it makes a sound like a busted cv joint - but i just replaced the cv joints.
i think i may need a new set of u joints on the front driveshaft... and i hope its not the transfer case thats causing the problem...
i'm going to put some magik oil in the transfercase and pull the shaft out to replace the double cardan u joint which came on the 93's ... and i may check the front dif too.
hope i figure this out because i really want to hit 400,000 miles on my straight 6

So I just spoke with the PO, he said the mechanic told him the drive shaft wouldn't disengage? Which to me makes no sense because its all time 4 wheel drive. So I gues the next step is to find a shaft and put it in. Which if anybody has one let me know. The local junkyards don't.
He can't tell me anything other than the 4 wheel drive is disengaged.

well the dealer I'm sure will charge a lot, the discount auto store has one for $350, online $250. I guess I will just wait for one to come through the junk yard.

Great news I got back in touch with the PO, and I was able to get a little more detail from him and the old DRIVESHAFT!!!!!! First the owner said the Jeep would shake violently around around 10 or 20 mph, took it to a "friend" the "friend" said the front diff. wasn't disengaging. Again doesn't make any sense its All TIme 4x4. Second the drive shaft is missing one of the mounting pieces (don't know what its called) I will get some pics up please advise where to go from here. I won't have the Jeep in my possession until the weekend.

what i'm assuming is the yoke, has this printed on it: (SPICER,C2-2A-309)
I think the letter "A" is an A I couldn't really read it. on the opposite side of the same yoke (328 99) is stamped. What does this information mean? I am not familiar with 4 wheel drive, I love to DIY. I need to know all the information I can get
also what type of axle do I have, the information is posted on post 5
