Question 94 charging system problem/s

Hi Everyone, I posted this in the wrong forum first so posting here. I thought I had a xj but I guess it's a zj? lol

I've had a 94 jeep Cherokee Laredo a few months.
It ran good when I got it but not anymore and now it isn't charging its battery.
Last night I took the alternator out and has it tested and it works. (autozone load testing machine 3x)
It gets battery voltage to the hot wire into the alternator and the grounds have good continuity. In the engine bay fuse panel it has two alternative power fuses and both are good 60a fuses. I'm not sure where to go next but it is obd1 and I don't have a way to scan it and see if the computer is at fault or if it's a wiring problem. If anyone can lead me in a direction to check / test anytime get her back on the road.

Other issues maybe pertinent or not. The screen above the ash try doesn't work, the wipers only work on high and don't park (I've read about the trace burning out on the board need to address it soon) the drivers rear window switch or wiring to it isn't working(I used a battery to roll it up and down to see if the regulator was bad it works) I bought a key fob for locking and unlocking and it won't program but the fob works on a buddies car. I guess the receiver isn't working or is a part or its electrical problems

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Welcome to the forum.

There are three areas to investigate for charging problems: the battery; the generator and the wiring.

All of the wiring power and ground connections must be disassembled, cleaned, inspected and tightened, after properly disconnecting the battery.

This topic shows my generator tests per the FSM.

Note that the PCM provides the field voltage to the generator, that regulates the output voltage.

Alright so the problem was the generator in the test by wingless the generator failed. So a new generator and distributer was all that was probably needed although I threw some sensors, plugs and cleaned the fuel rail out. It's very odd that it tested on a machine as good 3x.
