93 grand cherokee transmission problems

When first started and put into gear will drive will shift out up to 2nd gear sometimes to third but once warmed up puts itself into neutral.... Any advice on this would help...

It's v8 5.2L all time 4wd....

I'll give it a shot... I'm buying a totaled jeep just like mine for parts tomorrow but really hoping I don't have to change transmissions.....
