Default 5.2L V8 Plenum pan replacement

Just curious if anyone else has had to do this on their ZJ? I have a 1994 and at about 145,000 miles or so I realized I was burning oil and after some research I came across some Ram forums with guys having the same problem. For anyone wondering why this happens is that because the plenum pan is steel and the intake is aluminum, the two metals expand and contract at different temps and causes the gasket to fail and burn oil into the intake. the easiest way to see if you have this problem is to open the throttle body and shine a flash light down into the intake and check if it there is oil on the inside part of the plenum pan.
I bought the Hughes engines Plenum replacement that came with a new plenum pan, all new hardware, gaskets, new thermostat, bypass hose for $120 not including S+H. Took about 10hrs (book time is 8hrs I believe) to complete that included some parts store runs and meal breaks. My estimated cost was probably around $300 total after replacing the nearly 20yr old vacuum lines, temperature sensor, oil pressure sending unit, new oil + filter, anti-freeze, and a $50 gift certificate to Quadratec to my cousin for lending me a place to sleep and his barn to work in for the weekend. It's definitely a long project but I figured I could lend some advice for anyone needing to do this
A month later haven't burned any oil or covered the car behind me with a blue cloud lol

I've done a few of them when I worked at a Dodge store. You have to be sure not to over torque the manifold bolts, the block can distort. I think the spec is 12ftlbs.

yea, it's very low, the directions I had were all in inch pounds, luckily my brother had bought one a couple years back...the 3/8" torque wrench was a better fit especially for getting the two rear bolts
