4wd issue 06 WK... lost
 

I have been creeping this forum for a while now and this is my first post. 2006 wk 4wd 4.7v8 all stock 150k miles. The front end is binding up when turning. I can engage the the 4wd and disengage it and the front end will release. After searching the internet i found many post saying the front actuator needed to be replaced. I purchased the actuator, opened the front differential and there was no actuator to replace. Now i have no idea what to do or replace. I assume the issue is still an actuator but i do not know where or what to look for.

I ordered the transfer case motor. It makes a ton of noise engaging and disengaging. Hopefully this fixes my issue.

I replaced the transfercase motor today and still nothing. When i start the vehicle up it is grinding in the transfer case while turning. Once i engage the 4wd low and drive it about 50 feet then disengage, it works fine. Not sure what to do here but any help would be greatly appreciated!
