4.7 lifter question

Default 4.7 lifter question
i just got a 2000 grand with a 4.7 and the lifters are making noise and wanted to know how many lifters are on one bank or lifters per a cyc.

Should be two banks... one on each side of the motor... and I suck at engine internals but 2 per cylinder... one for exhaust and one intake... I'm sure if in wrong ill get eating up about it... if I have engine issues I just find another... almost not worth fixing or rebuilding these days with Craigslist and forums...

yeah but the lifters are cheap and wasnt sure if it was 2 or more per cylinder

As far as I'm aware the 4.7L is a 2 Valve/cylinder motor.

If a lifter is bent there's a reason... loose head bolts... something...
