4.0L Piston Ring Clocking?

Does anyone know the actual Jeep suggested Piston Ring Clocking?

I'm just looking for some last minute tips before they go in. I've got them pretty good as far as I think. Should the Top Rings really be 180 degrees from each other? Maybe someone has a link to a diagram or something.

I'm about ready to start poppin them in.

yes, the gap from the first ring to the next should be 180 degrees apart from each other. I don't think the starting position is that important but for myself I would place them front to back since the rod rotates between the left and right side direction.

don't forget the rings are different, the top ring has a dot on the top it and the bottom ring has a chamfer on the bottom inside edge. you should also place the second compression ring gap 180 from the oil ring gap as well.

I'd like to add the reason of that notch in the second ring is to allow the ring to twist when being driven down under combustion pressure and seal better against the cylinder wall.
