4.0 head bolts /studs?

4.0 head bolts /studs?
Are the head bolts on a 4.0 studs on one side? Looks like studs and nuts but if it is I dont think the head will come off in the car? Doing head gasket.

They are not "studs". The nut is permenantly attached to the stud. Make sure u put all of them back in the same spot, cause there are two bolts that have a little nipple in for the valve cover gasket.

Thanks for the heads up, I wouldn't have noticed the difference in the valve cover ones!
