2018 WK2 Auto Start/Stop
 

Hello all

Hoping you can help me. My brother just bought a 2018 Grand Cherokee, he loves it but he hates the auto start stop feature. I have read about the tricks of turning the steering wheel, disconnecting the battery sensor (this turns the fault light on the dash), and keeping your foot lightly on the brake. My question is that what else can be done. I know on the ford end there is a guy that makes a wiring harness that plugs into the start stop button and it keep the switch always in the off position unless you want it on. Is there something like this available?

They may be able to sell him an OBD-II programmer that disables it permanently.

I've heard about a little cartridge that plugs into you OBD2 port that does the same thing.That way you don't void the warranty.
