Having problems with 2017 jeep Cherokee. The jeep won't move when put in drive I am on deployment so this is what my wife told me and sent me. She says she puts it in drive and it won't move. It has 4000 miles on it. She's sent me a video I will try to upload it. It flashes on the dash between service oil service tire service 4wd. Just try get a idea of what's wrong the dealer is not helping at all she said.

Well still having problems with the jeep got in contact with jeep and they had the dealership look at it. They said they did a software update and cleared codes and gave us back the jeep less then a week later problem came back took it back to the dealership they said they missed clearing a code. Problem happened again so this so we took the jeep back in they had it for over 2 weeks and said that it only gave them a problem once asked what they did to FIX the problem they told me they did nothing to the jeep and that u needed to drive it around and wait for the problem to happen again. So it's been in the shop 3 times now and they gave me the jeep back saying they did nothing to fix it. I am active duty military leaving back out on deployment and they basically told me to have me wife drive it around and wait to get stranded some where before they will try and fix it a 4th time. To me that's like telling the pilots of my airplane sorry sir didn't fix it try and fly it we will see if you fall out of the air and then I will fix it.

I would be raising he** with that dealership. 2017...must be covered bumper to bumper. Must be other avenues too if you get no where.

I wouldn't be if when I call jeep customer care and they keep telling me to take it to the dealership. Who do I need to talk to. All I want is a vehicle that will run and not leave my wife stranded some where when I am on deployment half way around the world. I am thinking about contacting my attorney general and filing for a lemon law
