Hi All - Have a 2013 Grand Cherokee Laredo that I take off-road to get to various trail heads for hiking. Just got a flat and broke a cord in one of the stock Good Year non-LT tires, so ready for a set of LT rubber. Looking at the Cooper AT3.

I may get a 2-4" lift at some point, but not yet.
The stock size tires are 245/70R17.
--> My main question is I'm looking for advice on what size I can go to to get any additional clearance for offroad. I don't want to mess with spacers or have any chance of body rubbing.

--> Secondarily, any experience, opinions on the Cooper AT3 tires for road, snow and offroad?

I run it mostly on the highway, but do hit some fairly burly trails a few times per month. Have made use of the skidplates several times, so any additional clearance would help.
