2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ No backup lights
My backup lights do not work, all my other directionals, flashers all work. I have a V8/ 4.7 not sure of the tranny. Can anyone let me know where I can start troubleshooting ( fuse box under hood- which fuse?)
Or switch IN or on SIDE of transmission?
Any help

I believe it's part of the NSS screwed into the side of the transmission.

Negative if its the 4.7 v8 then its inside the transmission pan. The NSS is only on 4.0s. Was moderately expensive at local dealer but couldn't not have reverse lights too easy for an accident to happen when people don't now you are in reverse.
