Cool 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Pull

All,
This is my first Jeep Grand Cherokee. I bought it after much research into a dependable vehicle to pull my boat, trailer and drive through the snowy months. I found a 2004 with high miles and the seemingly bulletproof L6. It was loaded with all the bells and whistles! Iv'e driven it since last October and it's been great! I noticed a while back that when you accelerate the back end goes to the right and when you decelerate it goes back to the left. Doesn't really bother me to much but I'd like to correct it before it gets worse. Iv'e seen posts that it could be the track bars which makes sense. Has anyone had this issue that has had the exact same issue that could point me in the right direction?
Benny

Are the tires new/balanced? Jack the rear in the air and place on jack stands. Is there lateral movement out/away from the vehicle or in/toward the vehicle? Is there all around slop?
In the rear there isn't universal not ball joints. There still is an axle bearing and an hub. The bearings have slop when they have worn. Maybe a hub could have deformed some, but that is terribly unlikely and would be an all of time issue. I don't think that the inside of the wheel could go bad, but the lug nuts could be loose and there could be play from that.
