2004 Jeep Cherokee won't start no click
2004 Cherokee limited 4.7 auto when key is tutned to start.nothing happens
No click lights ok Any suggestions? |
Welcome to CF!
First of all, you say nothing happens. Do you get any dash warning lights and gauges before you start to crank it? Do the courtesy lights come on? If not, I'd look to the battery and supply wires to the PDC (fuse/relay box under the hood.) If you do get lights and gauges, I would look to the neutral safety switch. Try pushing hard on the shift lever toward Park or try starting in neutral. Come back and tell us what you find. |
Had the same problem a week ago. Fuses were all good, power was good, it was the neutral safety switch.
http://bc4x4.com/tech/2010/jeep-neut...ty-switch-nss/ followed this guide and was good to go. this was for my XJ though, is 4.7 a grand cherokee? |
^Both sum it up very well for a place to start and may be the finish to your problem^
