2002 jeep grand cherokee v-8 oil pressure

hey guys wonder if any came across this my jeep grand cherokee dummy gauge shows the oil pressure at 3/4 of the gauge wondering if that right or something amiss in it. Still got to hook it up the scanner and see what the pressure reads and where is the sensor just bought it 2 days ago. thanks for the help guys.

Is that while driving or while stopped?

It sounds like a sensor issue and ticking at high or low revs?
