Would it make a difference putting a hitch on a GC if it had an inline 6 vs a V8 under the hood? I found a hitch off a V8 GC and wondering if I will have any issues putting it on my inline 6 GC ?? I'm thinking not but just checking.

It shoudlnt, bit there is a chance bracketry could be different.

If you got a look at the mounts you should be able to tell.

No problem at all. I bought one from a junkyard, a V8 and it installed easily enough onto my I6 Laredo. The one problem you will have is cutting the bumper cover to install the bezel if you have the factory receiver.
