2001 Grand 4.0 into a 2000 grand w/v8?

The title says it all. I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee with a toasted V8. Everyone tells me the V8 is not worth fixing. Plus I can't afford to anyway. But I have 2001 available with the 4.0 steight 6. Complete with trany(body beyond hope). CAn someone tell me if I can put the 6 into my 2000? Motor Mounts? Do I need to swap the trany too, Computer issues? Wiring hook up. etc. etc.
Nothing like have two rigs I can't use?

yeah deff not gonna be worth it... sell that inline 6 man on craigslist... because of the 0331 head crack issue they have folks wanting them like crazy... i couldnt ever find one and i ended up buying a wrecked 04 WJ for the motor... then take that money and go find the 4.7...
