My 2000 WJ has no brake lights. Tail lights, turn signals work but when press the brakes I have no brake lights or third brake light. What could be the problem? Owning a WJ is knew to me, have only had it a week. Traded my 94 YJ with a chevy 350 for it cause I needed something 4 door and better on gas.

Also having problems with the front drivers side door. Its hard to get open. Takes 3 pulls on the handle for it to open. Any ideas?

First thing to check is the fuse. If good next check would be the stop light switch on the pedal. If fuse is good you should have power feed at switch. If no feed out of switch then switch is bad. The circuit goes from the fuse to the switch then a feed to the third light before the turn signal/hazard switch. So the problem is the fuse, the brake switch or the wiring after the switch.

As for the door, check to see if it is properly lubricated. Mine hangs up at times and I lubricate it and it seems to work again.

I had the same problem, but a 93 GC. The switch behind the brake pedal was dirty. A few others fixed their dead brake light this way, but I dont remember what years. It looks similar to a big plastic wiring connector/harness, at least on the ZJs.
