So me and a buddy got a 2000 WJ project for real cheap, the PO overheated and it needed a head gasket. We bought it took the head to a machine shop to check it over, and luckily was still good, so we had it cleaned and rebuilt, got all new gaskets, thermostat, thermostat housing, belt, plugs, put fresh oil and coolant in etc. got it all back together and she is running good, but starts to heat up a little too much.. We soon realized the fan wasn't kicking on..
We checked the fuse and it was good but even tried a new one anyways, checked the fan running wiring right from the battery and it kicked on fine. Found online the fan relay is a common problem and cut a hole under the headlight and replaced it, but still the fan does not kick on even when the temp is up at the halfway mark...

Any ideas!?
