Default Passenger window replacement?

Morning,
I have a question revolving around how does one replace the actual glass in these doors? 01 wj grand cherokee, i have the door panel off, the weather proofing film, i see the old one clipped onto the regulator. My only hang up is how to get the glass down in the hole properly. My guess is removing the surround from the window track? Help please as Im a bit lost on this one.

IIRC the window comes out up top, not through the door. At least according to what I remember reading in the FSM.

I got it, you just have to pop off the lower window trim pieces above the door panel on either side of the bottom of the window sill (the horizontal ones on the inside and outside facing, the vertical ones on the sides stay in place) and then the new window slides from the top down. The old busted piece can come out the bottom after removing the clips. Mods can delete this thread, as Im done with it.

I always recommend leaving instructional threads up! That way the next person can find your post that describes how you did it.

I was about to PM you the page from the manual on it, but since you got it out already I don't suppose you'll be needing it!
