so i put a new fuel pump in my buddies grand. was able to tip the tank down with the filler neck and all the evap **** hooked to it and get the pump out. i put the new one in and tested it with the tank loose to make sure it was good. fired it up and ran great for bout 20 sec then died, i figured it was sucking air because it only had about 1 gallon or so in the tank. put it all back together poured 5 gal in and i knew something was wrong when it read empty. pump does not kick on now, checked connection fuse and relay are good. is this new pump just a dud? oh also when you turn the key on the locks freak out and 4 way blinkers flash i dont know if the pcm is messed up or something. i wanted to scan it but didnt have my scan tool with me. this is a rebuilt pump from mopar.. what do you guys think?

does anyone have a wiring diagram for the fuel pump wiring harness? id like to start tracing wires.

just to wrap this up i did find some wires that the previous owner twisted together and just taped up coming from the wiring harness going to the pump. cleaned em up soldered the connections and she runs like a champ now
