I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee Loredo with 4.0, Select trac etc that is pretty much a garage queen. It has been setting with out being started for about 2 weeks, I have a battery tender to keep it charged. Went to start it but when it turned over it ran very rough, the dash lit up, the odometer started flashing then the dash went darkbut if I tried to accelerate, it got even rougher. The odor of gas was very strong. Waited 15 min tried again and the same. Anybody got Ideas? BTW my garage gets water when the rains are heavy or frequent.

Have you run the codes? Is the gas cap okay? What about fuel contamination after all that dampness...
