Probably blew the headgasket or warped the heads.

Would'nt it be leaking fluid of some kind somewhere?

could be leaking water into the oil or leaking out of the exhust. your oil will be white or it would have have white smoke and or water dripping out of the tail pipe.

Default clean water and Oil

I don't think it is a head gasket both the water and the oil are clean and no moisture coming out the tail pipe.

i need to add that at idle it runs like a new jeep. no rough idle. no missing, just when you get it above 3000rpm does all the problems start.

if it overheated, could need new plugs. my wife's 99 GC Laredo is on it's 2nd radiator this year and has been overheated 2 or 3 times, this past time it started missing and I pulled the plugs out and they was white, so I replaced them and it runs like new again.

Update.....Problem was the catlitic converters..yes it has two. according to some, after running hot , it probley ran a real lean mixture and that will ruin the converters, check engine light never came on and it never threw a code for me to read. oh well problem solved. thanks to all that responded...
