1994 Jeep wont start
I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4 wd 4 l 6 cylinder engine automatic transmission. it stalled on me and now it wont start. It turns over but wont catch - there is 3 gallons of gas in the tank. I was thinking the fuel filter or pump or maybe both. also where are the filter and pump located - are they both inside the tank?

Welcome to the forum.
The fuel filter is forward of the fuel tank, as-shown in the image. The fuel pump is within the fuel tank.
Note that one essential tool is a fuel pressure gauge.
Another essential tool is the Factory Service Manual (FSM). Some prefer a printed volume, others a PDF document, I have both.

Three gallons is not a lot of fuel and picking-up that fuel could be a problem if parked on an incline or if there are "sand holes" in the pick-up tube. But this also may not be due to a fuel pick-up/delivery issue. Does it "catch" if you prime the throttle body with fuel or maybe a spritz of starting fluid? If it does catch and run following a prime then you should add fuel (5 more gallons, at-least) and then try again. If it doesn't catch after doing that then your situation may be due to a failed crank position sensor.
