okay I have 94 grand Cherokee 5.2 my issue is after I let it sit for a while, probably a few hours it will not start right up. but if I cycle the key 2 or 3 times then it will start right up. does this sound like a fuel pump issue the gas draining but to the tank

 

Either the check valve in the pump is bad or an injector is leaking. Pull the dip stick and see if you can smell gas in the oil.

You might have an injector bleeding down. You have to carefully pull the fuel rails and injectors up enough to see which one is leaking after cycling the key a few times to charge the fuel system.
