My jeep won't start and I know it's the shifter position sensor and I was wondering how I could ground it out so my jeep will start it will start if I touch a screwdriver to the starter bolts on the side

It's a three wire plug on the left side of the transmission just above the pan.

A Grand Cherokee neutral safety switch is less than 20 bucks and just screws into the side of the transmission, it's way different from the AW4 neutral safety switch found in an XJ
