1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee sagging door
Hi,
I bought a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the drivers side door sags. To close it I have to push it up and in and then lock it. How do I fix that or do i just need a totally new door?

Hey I just bought a 00 XJ, has the same problem. Check out your door pins, one of them likely needs to be replaced. the part is like 15 bucks and you can do it yourself if you have a friend help, and your slightly mechanically inclined. Easy job.

really thats it? Thanks I noticed some wear from trying to slam it close but that shouldnt be an issue tho should it? It's obvious its not totally latched on because when I lock all the doors the drivers side is only partly covered in black showing that its locked. Also How important is it to get a radiator flush on my Jeep? I only drive it about 6 miles a day round trip and it doesnt overheat but the fluid looks kinda brown

We carry the door hinge pins to fix this issue. We have them listed as fitting 94-98. I'm not sure what may or may not be different on the 93 doors.
If you want to buy them to see if they would work on your truck, I'd be interested to see if they are different or if they would work.
If they didn't work for you we would refund your money. Kinda interested to see what they're not listed as fitting a 93 from our supplier.
Here's a link to them on our website.Grand Cherokee Door hinge Pin

I had a similar issue. My prolem was the sheet metal the higes are spot welded to was cracking and breaking around the hinge. The pins were fine. Had it welded twice.
The pevious owners just kept slaming it harder and tore stuff up until the latch and door had to be replaced. Thats why you see some ZJ's with different color doors. Mine was blue with a green door.
Just saying check the metal around the higes on the jamb side.
Good luck. Hope it is just the pins.
