1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee brake light switch
I have checked my fuses and light bulb they are good when I step on the brake pedal I do not have stoplight where is the brake light switch located at?

behind the pedal, pull back the carpet. Not that rare that they need attention. Mine was dead, just needed to pull the two sides apart and then clean it out a bit. Hopefully that's all you need to do.

pull carpet back??? Its connected up under the dash, is near the top of the brake pedal arm

How's the wiring at the tail lamp look? you may need a new harness, or I'd just go and get a whole new CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Lamp, aka third brake lamp). My '94 had that issue, and I never looked into replacing it. But that's what you may have to do.

The 93 brake light switch was a problem. I have replaced mine twice. Both times the cruise quit working first then the torque converter wouldn't unlock when stopping. My guy at the Jeep dealer said they replace them all the time.
